I forgot to give you guys on the R100 GS purchase. Turns out it is a Paris Dakar model. Red/White in oem trim w/rack & panniers. Solo red seat. I bought it from one of Sasquatch Jim's friends in Kapaau, Hawaii. Northside of the Big Island (Kohala District) approx. 60 north of me. When I got there, he had a buyer picking up the R90/6 that he modified to be a R90S clone. If it was unmolested, I would have bought that instead.I did notice in his barn a '60 era Triumph and BSA. Both looked like 650 twins. I didn't ask. He was selling his excess BMW bikes. The last one for sale was his R75 Toaster tank. He didn't mind keeping that. The PD that I bought had 57K miles on it. Turns out that I'm the 3rd owner. From what I can see of the bike everything works properly. Wonky auto kickstand. Never did like them. Oem Owners manual & tool kit. From the condition of the bike in oem condition w/aftermarket rear shock, it matches to the mileage on the odometer. Nothing bashed it. No scrapes. The history of the bike is that it was originally purchase by the 1st owner who had a case of itchy feet. He used it for cross country touring a number of times then moved Hawaii island. Used it for his primary transportation. Eventually leaving for Thailand. The 2nd owner bought it about 5 years ago and rode it infrequently with the other Beemers. My guess from his age easier starting than his English bikes. My assessment of the bike and condition is that it's in good condition for the mileage and age. Sorry no pix but I'll see what I can do.
