Honda making a new "Gold Wing(NGC) Scooter"
« on: March 17, 2023, 01:54:30 PM »
Hello folks, I saw this on the honda goldwing newsletter I get, and thought it would be interesting  the way motorcycling as we know it is changing.

A bagger scooter, I'll take it! Reminds me of the Helix CN250 that still has a cult following. Not good looking in my opinion, but they're so much fun they grow on you. The standard PCX is the same way. I doubt they'll radically stir up the market, nobody is going to go into a Honda dealer looking for the capabilities of a Wing Dinger and leave with a scooter. It's going to be people considering small bikes and scooters who buy it. For the USA especially that's a tough market outside of college towns, urban areas, and a couple of us with screws loose.

I'm impressed.   Did I miss the MSRP ?

Still, I would want something at least in the 300cc range.

I think a 300cc version would be much more useful. It has to be able to attain highway speeds, if its a "mini GoldWing"!

Brought back memories of when they cloned the wing into a more mid size bike, the Pacific Coast model.
Keeping it light with more displacement would make me look twice.
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.
