edit:  July 9 meet up.

Second Saturday at the Creek is starting up again this Saturday, April 13.  10:00 to Noon.  Good news, the driveway down into the lower parking lot has been paved!  No more hillclimb of death!

Casual little group at a nice bakery in Mt Morris, PA.  Every sort of machine from a 1937 (I think) Harley UL to /2 Beemers, to Ducati Multistrada and, of course, Guzzis.    The Harley guys have plenty of places to gather, this is for the rest of us.

It's a 1936, John, but close enough . . .

Always a nice crowd. Never know who will show up . . . old guys, young guys, shiny stuff, dirty stuff . . . but I seem to learn something new every time I'm there.

Yeah, George, always a nice crowd.  Looking at that first pic, we have a coal miner, neurosurgeon, IT guy, pharmacy clerk, and a retired deviant (that would be you!!     ).  Our No Jagoffs rule has held up well.

Weather is looking good, too.  I'm on call this weekend but things have been slow lately so I'm hoping I can be there for the whole meet.

Oh, just turn the cell phone off . . .

Tempting.

And look at us Old Guys:  Saturday, neither one of us has to work today, and we're still up at 5:00 a.m.

See you in a couple hours.

. . . and stop calling me a "retired deviant". I have not retired from deviancy!

Yeah, I played the straight man on that one.  FWIW, I don't plan on retiring from deviancy either.

I put the meet up on the local BMW clubs forum so we may be inundated with bikes that sound like a parson farting in a bathtub.  (that's a classic Roperism).

Maybe that's why the perfect 1995 R100RT showed up yesterday . . . and you didn't even get a photo!

It was a very nice turnout for the first "official" Saturday at the Creek.

Love the Monkey.  I'm betting he had more fun on that 125cc machine in his 45 mile ride to the meet than anyone else who showed up.

26 bikes yesterday, I believe.  Nice crowd.

Sorry you had to leave early John. We had breakfast under the portico and it was just delicious. The service was excellent. The bakery was doing a brisk business,I hope they do well.

I was looking for you, Jim, when my damn phone rang.  G$%damm work.  Unfortunately, that one was a bit of an emergency and I had to run.  Checking my schedule, I'm on call the next two months during bakery bike day.  I might have to see if I can swap weekends.  Leaving early bums me out.

One of these days, we'll have to run down to Short Story Brewing for lunch after the Bakery.  Excellent food and microbrews.

That was the first meet with the new owners of the bakery.  They should be OK with us-- 26 bikes and it looked like everybody bought something.  I'll check in with them this weekend and see what they thought.

Sorry about the late notice.  Meet is today.  Happy to report that the new owners are happy with the meet every month.  Hope some of you can make it.

Nice crowd showed up today! That 1948 Harley "U" model was pretty outstanding, and the BMW contingent made a strong showing . . . (probably just to annoy John)

Pretty cool Suzuki "Water Buffalo" too.

Not sure how many we had today.  Some left and some later arrivals.  I'm betting around 30 or so.

First time for this Water Buffalo.  It was a hit.

First time for this Flattie, too.

This helmet has seen more of the world than I have.

250 cc and he likes to cruise at about 70.  He thinks there is a speed limiter on it because it stops motivating at 84 mph, even downhill.  Anyone know anymore about that?

Sounds like a Parson farting in a bathtub (Roperism).

One lone Guzzi.  Allan is loving it more every time he rides it.  Closing in on 15k and loosening up nicely.  Good think he likes it 'cause his Harley is on the fritz right now.

Nice to see new faces, including a family from Pittsburgh with Dad (Africa Twin), Mom (Kawasaki 600 Ninja), and college age daughter on:
