I lived in Ann Arbor from Oct 1988 until Jan 1992, and often rode with a buddy from Ypsilanti, MI who'd lived in Michigan all his life. For some reason, we always hauled up I 75/US23, crossed Big Mac, and did our camping and riding in the UP.

In 2013, I rode the 1200 Sport from Cleveland to Northport MI, and wondered how and why I'd never ridden that area all the time I lived in Michigan. There's probably a prettier route instead of the I 96 portion of the ride, but once off the Interstate, it was a thoroughly enjoyable ride. I'm editing and adding a photo, taken near Sleeping Bear Dunes.

I'd put M22 in Leelanau County up against any road in the US for quality twisties with amazing views with sparse small towns and no traffic. Northport is right smack in the middle of it.

Our 2019 Michigan MGNOC Rally was a great weekend filled with fine people and amazing stories/tales/bike talk.
We had folks from all over come for the fun!
Thanks to all those that came up ! We will continue this rally and tradition for many many years to come and always shoot for the 3rd weekend in August.
We had fine participation in from all and a big thank you to those that helped out in the Kitchen and organizational duties!!
Already looking forward to next year and we have some good ideas to bring in young blood to help us continue to grow.

Thanks to Jamie Muller for bringing up his new V85TT for everyone to ogle and ask questions about.

I rounded up everyone for a group photo and here was the result.
