Hello friends, I have been reading Lawrence Bransby. Him and his son travel to points far off the map. They use smallish bikes, right now they are on Suzuki dr 350's. Very good reads for the long days ahead. Paul

Hah!  Just before the pandemic we hosted a newlywed couple from South Korea.  We met them at Petrified Forest National Park while we were doing Route 66 and they were on their way to Alaska.  They had started in Guatemala.  Months later, on return from Alaska, they stayed a week at our home near San Francisco.  On their way to Ushuaia.  They made it to Columbia before the lockdown and had to fly back home to South Korea.  They were riding two 125cc Suzuki streetbikes!!!!

Patrick,
I for one would like to see a map of all the riders you've hosted from around the world. Thanks for being such a wonderful ambassador to riders.

The best book I've read in the past few years is " Stealing Speed" by Matt Oxley.

I have enjoyed several of Bransbys books, especially their trip in Russia when they partied with the Russian equivalent of the Hells Angels. The books are available on Kindle for only a few bucks.
