850T project
« on: December 19, 2021, 11:21:59 AM »
Been on the site for a while always watching for an older Guzzi to cafe, liked the look since the early 80s,yep i'm old.Have a 13 Stelvio i've been running now and have one bike to redo this winter before the cafe becomes a reality with this 75 850t,started stripping off what i call some of the ugly and now looking for an idea for how to move the sidestand back some, new lower rails or cut off and weld a tab farther back, anyone have some lower bars and clutch cable ,would like to ride it with lower bars ,not sure if i want clipons or just a lower bar setup before the build starts, any links to other builds would be appreciated. The little Bulldog is growing on me

That will look really nice with a freshening and without the doodads.  Good score  :thumb:

Convert lower rails have a great sturdy side stand. Also, I like the low bars on the early Spadas.  I think they are the same as on the v50ii. You have a great T to work with.
