Title: 2021 Kentucky Rally
Post by: TFinch1990 on June 23, 2021, 02:05:37 PM
It’s getting closer the Kentucky rally is right around the corner. Hoping to have a big turn out this year really hoping to see everyone that we didn’t get to last year. It has been brought to my attention that I had not gotten the rally in the MGNOC rally calendar I apologize for that. It should be getting taken care of as of now. Rally is last full weekend in September 23-26 at the Kentucky river campground Frankfort Kentucky. Rally fee is $40 and camping is $8 per night per person organized rides Friday and Saturday and as always all the food you can stand to eat. If you leave the Kentucky rally hungry you didn’t look vary hard. Hope to see everyone at the rally this year hoping for a big year of old friends and new ones.

I'll be present and accounted for, Todd.

Thanks for the work you and the crew do on this.

I’m also looking for some input from the group on a ride Friday that I normally do. Is there a distillery anyone would like to see or a place in Kentucky anyone would like to ride too. If so let me know and I’ll see what I can work out.

should make for wonderful sleep and riding. Just need to be warm in the mornings outside the bag, pre sun. Adds bulk to the packing. Ahhh, well.

I left Monday from central Illinois. Went to Natchez now bringing the trace back up. Outside of Tupelo at a state park now. Had a great time last year. Learned all about polar bears too. See you Friday.

The Kentucky Rally is in the books.  The Rallygoers were great, 102 of them which we were told is a new record. The weather was great with only a spotty shower on Saturday morning.  The food was more than great.  The camping was close, but we are all friends. The facilities are first class. The setting is hard to beat.  The roads are just what you would want with little traffic, many turns and elevation changes.  The incredible assortment of bourbons and whiskies meant you don't have to leave the rally to experience the "bourbon trail".

Our hosts, Todd and his family and friends are such great "ambassadors" (get it) for the hobby of Rallying, the brand and the kind of great folks you can meet in Kentucky.  This rally like all the best ones felt like a family reunion.

On a personal note, that wraps up my rally season for this year.  A pretty good improvement on last year's.  If you have never been to a rally, think about trying one next year.  There should be at least one in your state or a neighboring state within striking distance even if only for a day visit.  Rallys add a new dimension to MG ownership.  Thanks again MG riders of KY.
