Marvin Lee Aday AKA Meat Loaf has passed away at 74.
A great singer, and actor as well.

He had a small part in Fight Club and in the LA version of Hair when the play was on tour.  No mention of him being in the undressed portions of the Hair production......

Always liked his music...big over the top productions.  My favorite is "Paradise by the dashboard light."  That one always takes me back!     He was a pretty good actor too.  RIP.

Listened to the song and then watched the video on youtube. Definition of the video is terrible even for back then, but great expressions throughout that really showed off some acting skill. Made me sadder than most when I heard of his passing probably because I'm older today than yesterday.

I'm making meatloaf tonight in his honor.  RIP.

He sold over 100 million albums and appeared in over 60 films.  He had quite a career.

This song meant something special to me when I was young.

I saw him at the Tennis Centre about 8 years before the AFL Grand final tragedy and he quite literally had lost the ability to sing. It was terrible to watch and even worse considering he was charging people to attend. His backing singers carried him vocally through the whole show.

Ciao

Thanks for the link.  I've got the LP, but this is the first time I saw the video.  He was a talent!
