Title: Eldo is revived and Couldn't be happier
Post by: vintagehoarder on May 19, 2021, 10:07:31 AM
We finally got our long desired loop!  Big thanks to Cadre Cycle for going completely through it and getting it right!  Did the maiden voyage to the Comet Bike night in Cincinnati, plenty of Guzz's represented.  Love this  ol loop frame tractor! It's super special because it belong to my dear Friend Ken Kline passed away unexpectedly, so glad I ended up with me!  My Friend Henk in Amsterdam, made me this awesome shirt. So stoked!

Nice. A great loop frame in front of a '62 Studebaker Lark.

Thanks everyone running great except that old Italian electrical wiring decided to let all the smoke out.  So Greg Bender wiring harness being ordered.   A slight delay in the fun.

Oh wait... it's positive ground only.
Seriously though,  Greg Bender's harness is the way to go. Nice bike!

Well that was short lived, the 47 year old wiring gremlins got me, something must have shorted, and poof it let all the smoke out.

So ordering a new harness from Greg Bender, Retro Wrench in Louisville is going to install it for me, so should have it back on the road soon.

Great bike. I know I’ll have a loop someday. 50 year old wiring was due for replacement anyway.
