You've boxed the compass of Canada, so to speak.

I hope you have adventures to report!

I got tired reading your list.

Hey Nick, Didnt your loop have an oil filter somewhere above the right floorboard? I dont see that in your picture.
All of your rides are simply amazing! This one is no different!

It is good to see that you are now safely home, after such a lengthy 8,687 mile trip to the NWT. I also very much enjoyed following your travel posts, and it is simply amazing that your old Eldorado once again successfully completed such a long and remote travel adventure!   :thumb:

I will look forward to your next travel book, and reading all about your 'on the road'  Eldo repairs.

Rick.

Sorry Rick - skipped by this one somehow.  Yes, I did used to have an external oil filter, but back many thousands of miles ago the bracket snapped from vibration so I just unhooked the one oil feed line and bypassed it.  I doubt whether I'll be bothering with it again - just changing the oil every 2000 miles or so.

Pretty neat!

Did you not find that gravel and bugs hit you in the face quite a bit in that part of the world with an open helmet?

You've been lucky with tires too!   That stuff looks like it would be hell on tires.

Surprisingly few bugs Lannis.  just mosquitoes in the evening.  I would flip my visor down whenever a vehicle went by (which wasn't too often), so it was fine most of the time.
I was very lucky with tyres. Not a single puncture. I must admit, I wasn't keen on the idea of having to change a tyre or tube at the side of the road, although I suppose I would have done if I had no other choice. At least this time I had tyre, tube, puncture kit and tools, so it could have happened.

If I'd forgotten any of the above, you can bet I would have got a flat.
