Interesting! Not much farther than Ephrata for me and Italian only is a big plus. I'll try to make one something this year.

I still get to Ephrata once in a while but the last few years it's gotten a little "Sons of Anarchy'ish".

That pretty much describes my last time there. Oh, and stretched Busas bouncing off of the rev limiter.

That sounds pretty cool. Coincides with a monthly biker breakfast that the Lawn Fire and EMS holds in nearby Lawn, PA. The breakfast is from 7-11 on the third Sunday, May through September. It's just a 30-minute ride from Lawn to the meeting location.

I still ride a scoot most of the time (BV350) but I think I'm forgetting how to ride not many good NE type roads around here unless you ride 1 1/2 hour to get to them. I hope your ride becomes a success. It's a shame to see what a fiasco that Ephrata meet has turned into. I started going down there when a good day was 200 bikes and we'd meet behind the Cloisters restaurant. All euro or Asian sport bikes. If a Harley or a Gold Wing showed up they parked over at the gas station

Unfortunately all but one of them have been rained out. A few hardcore guys have weatherd the storm(s) but the rain we've been getting here in PA has been crushing all our weekend rides.

The rides have been mostly dominated by Moto Guzzi, followed by Ducati, and then Aprilia. I think one of the misconceptions with the ride and meet is it's a sport bike oriented event. Perhaps the Daytona on the flyer caused that however all makes, models, and genres of Italian motorcycles are welcome.

Stoevers Dam Park, my public campgrounds gpx list this as primitive, amenities unknown. Appears to be about 5 miles from the intersection.

Do you know anything about it, the internet has no info, except it is there. Being next to lebenon, I figured all I would need to do is throw a tent and bag and water on saturday afternoon to test the new to me california ev.

Are their any coal brakes or shiny diners in the area?

I hope to make it, if something doesn't come up with my Elderly parents. Mom fell last night, spent the afternoon at the doctors office and getting a head CT scan.

I'll likely ride the Eldo.

Don, The restaurant we meet at, Tosco's, used to be a diner in the '50s but it has been refurbished into a more modern Italian restaurant / pizzeria. There's a permit fee to camp at Stoevers Dam. It's only a couple bucks however I think you have to get the permit at the municipal building and they're only open Monday through Friday. There is a KOA in Lickdale which is maybe a 15 or 20 minute ride from the meet location.

I hope to see you guys there in July. I'm coming in 7/1 to 8/15. Not sure if I'll bring the Stornello or the Piaggio. Either way hope to see you guys again
