QUOTE: I think you are just trying to discourage people from coming to Oak Creek Az.   It is above 4,000 feet altitude and rarely gets above 101 degrees F..  I quote from this, https://weatherspark.com/y/2635/Average-Weather-in-Village-of-Oak-Creek-(Big-Park)-Arizona-United-States-Year-Round

We lived in Chandler and North Scottsdale, (basically, the Phoenix area, aka "The Valley of the Sun), on and off for more than 30 years...

Years ago, I came from a business trip in the height of summer and my wife had a long face...a VERY long face...and I said:  "Honey, what's the matter?" - - and she replied:

"I am not spending another 118 degree summer here or I am leaving..."

We had friends that moved to the VOC - Village of Oak Creek, (just outside of Sedona), and after visiting them a few times, we decided to move up there.  Been here 4 years now...and I am retired and have no regrets...and yes, the weather is very "temperate" up here at 4250 feet above sea level. - - Not too hot..and not too cold...and we get about 300 days a year of sunshine and blue skies.
The air here is also some of the best in the USA....That suits me just fine!

That sounds just right!    Here in PA, we get maybe 100 days of sunshine a year.   Climate change has brought us a lot more rain than we used to get.   I am envious of your weather.

In one's retirement and old age - "TEMPERATE"...not too hot...and not too cold.... is the key concept!! :thumb:
