Picked up my new 1200 sport but not the one you may think
« on: April 16, 2021, 04:51:00 AM »
OK SO...
I went with Huzo to pick up my new 1200 sport 2v today, things didn't go the way we thought they would go......;)

When we got there the bike was a good looking piece of kit but the closer you got the more things started to take my focus, nothing serious as it passed its RWC (road worthy cert) 1 hour before our viewing but it just wasn't what i was expecting so after giving the owner the bad news we made some calls on some runner up 1200 sport 8v's knowing that we had to get the rollers done we priced out our

other choices with that in account

we found this beautiful 1200 8v that is already getting its rollers sorted
i wont get into what i paid for it  on this thread but those interested are more than welcome to inbox me but safe to say it was way WAY!! under market value i guess i just got lucky

Nice find!  I wish they had brought the 8v Sport to USA, but we only got it one model year with the 2v 1200 I believe

Good looking bike, hope you love every mile.

Congratulations on what sounds to be a great deal! Wishing you many happy miles.

Hmmm. A black 1200 Sport would be a great complement to my grey V85TT...

hhmm...not sure what conversion ratio you are running there...maybe your Dad will have to do math lessons again with you!   :thumb: :thumb:

10K = 6.2Miles

Lovely bike by the way!

Looks great, but you gotta dump that colostomy bag..... Agostini makes a nice y pipe to replace. Though I imagine Huzo has already done so.....  One of the things I like about the 4V is it comes with a cat less collector/Yish pipe and puts the cat in the Stock muffler.

Enjoy!

Search engines have got tot he point if you say type 9800kms in miles they will spit out a pretty reasonable conversion, or it simply could of been a typo between 6600 and 6060.

It looked a lot better in the shots and I thought it hadn’t had much love, but still not too bad. It’s just that for not much more, he got a 9,000 k bike versus 56,000 k.

56 million kilometers is really a lot, I imagine it’s almost worn out

CONGRATULATIONS!! I remember years ago, that a very qualified Guzzi mechanic in NORCAL told me the Breva 1200 was the BEST all around Moto Guzzi ever produced! :thumb:  :boozing:
