May 2nd, 2021 - Greek Easter
Took a short ride East on SR 303, which has a surprising nice surface. Worked my way to Burton, then a different route home, through the lovely downtown of Chagrin Fall, Ohio. Once parked, I jogged dodging traffic across the street to Starbucks, ordered a coffee and a tiny tray containing two egg whites with red pepper mixed in. Took my breakfast outside and stood on the bridge overlooking the falls on the Chagrin River, at least 60-65' below the railing.
Lovely morning, sunny and 70 degrees. The gaggle of Harleys usually parked in front of Starbucks was no where to be seen, maybe too early. They were named the 'Latte Gang' several years ago in the small town paper. Fortunately, there was no absence of lovely ladies, many walking their dogs, accompanied with well-mannered children.
I am not used to the phone camera yet, so this pic doesn't halfway spell out how nice it was this morning. Good enough you'll get the idea.
Well, off to cut some of the grass, clean up, and head to a good friend's house to celebrate Greek Easter. She cooks equally as well as her mom did, so I'm looking forward to some fine Greek cuisine!
My contribution ..... a bottle of 5 Star Metaxa.
Happy Greek Easter to those of you who celebrate it!
