Probably won't be able to convince Kathi, Joe, after xxxx miles on back of Norge to Swanzey and back to do this, too ...

http://goo.gl/maps/SxKlt

And, possibly, even this via her dad in Erie ...

http://goo.gl/maps/pNzIv

Especially as we will be visiting friends in Cornish and touring a bit of New England after that.  But, I may stop on way back to use our porcelain facilities before swapping the Norge for the Griso or EV and heading south.   :D

Suspect some you ferro culi  ;D types see that as just another day ride, but even I will sick of stock saddles by then.   :o

This is a very good rally and rally site.  I had a great time last year.  Unfortunately, this year the dates conflict with the Minnesota Rally in Grand Marais, MN.

Have a good time and ride safe.  I hope the weather is great for the attendees.

I'll bet we're one of VERY few (if any) motorcycle brand groups who say things like "Oh, shoot, the Colorado rally conflicts with the one in Massachusetts!" or "Man, I wish the Wisconsin and the Virginia rallies weren't on the same weekend ....!"    ;-T

That's a long way for 'some' people!

Doubt I'll go to the National, so that I'll have the time and $$ to attend the VA Rally. Had planned to do Mt. Rogers, Burke's Garden, Tazewell, etc. last year afterwards, but a prior commitment prevented that. Hoping to do all that this year.

Yeah, The roads are horrible down here and there all kinds of diseases too that you might catch.

I'd stay away if I was a YANKEE.

I'm really hoping to not break down and have to trailer the bike back immediately after arriving this year. My wheel is back together, but the bike still isn't running quite right.

I love that description...

Yeah, the wheel is fixed, that was just a matter of budget and all the things that had to get paid first. I think my other problem is throttle body balance and maybe TPS. I've tried adjusting it all myself already, but must have something adjusted wrong. I just ordered a set of vacuum gauges to check the balance with more accuracy.

Also, you'll like this, the guy that laced my wheel did it for a really decent price, so I also gave him a rubbed and smoked pork shoulder. He said he'll only accept pork as payment from here on and asked if I had any other wheels needing assistance.
