That (funny) comment is probably meaningless to anyone born after ... uhm ... 1980?

Thanks Luap.  The Norge part of me likes the new look.  The Cali II part will need to catch up.

Thanks for all the efforts Luap. It may be on your "To Do" list, but just in case you don't know, it doesn't seem possible to access the forum anymore via the Tapatalk app which is normally my sole access. No worries, just wanted to point it out.

I'll not be bringing Tapatalk back online at all. Too many holes in that and it caused about 25% of the problems in the first place.

That's interesting...tapat alk bills itself as a savior. I get it, and i'll work around it.

I get anxious just THINKING about all the screen time this transition has required. I could never do it.  Thanks, man. VERY much appreciated.

I know, I used tapatalk myself on my iphone.  But, until they can figure out a way to close some of their holes, I have to hold off on it. That "little" app used 25% of the servers memory just to 'translate' the forum to fit on little phones.  Very strange.

Looks like the ignore feature was ignored during the reinstall.  Thats a good feature of the new board, no whiny "I don't like him" ignore button.   Bravo Luap.  And piling on, thank you for all that you do for the board, and also to all the admins and mods that that this the place that it is.

I was up to four ignores, piker level.  Was striving for pro level like Lannis or KevM.

Yeah, I really seen no reason to reinstall that feature.  We're all grown ups here.  Hopefully we can all just get along.  If someone doesn't like what they see, then I guess that's something they'll have to work out with the other person themselves.  At least that's how I do it in real life.

It was just a game.   Whenever someone would moan "Oh my God someone is Ignoring me, what have I done, why am I so hateful?", about 4 or 5 of us agreed to hit him with an "ignore" (even though we were reading all his stuff) and say "NOW look what you've done, now EVERYONE hates you"!   Just to desensitize them a bit, they seemed to need it!

I went from 3 or so to 20 ignores all at once, back years ago when I made big fun of the Illuminutty board.   I'd jump over and read their comments when I posted something on THIS board they didn't like, and they'd all be milling around like a kicked anthill .... !

Good riddance to the "ignore" thing.

I have notice a warning that the security certificate wasn't compatible.  Then when I bypassed it something to the effect that the security program notice malware and was working on it.
