She had to take the MSF in order to get the license. According to her mom she is not interested in any protective garments that don't fit that cool description but she was wearing boots, gloves, leather jacket, etc. and all stylish. We put on our Stich's and I could see she was not interested.
Long ago I rode a 77 Yamaha xs 650 from the Canadian border to the Mexican border and back. The other two guys had a 750 bmw and a cb 750 Honda. We had no trouble with any of the bikes, and passed a lot of cars on the way. I now own that same bmw and would do the same trip with it now. 750's are fine for traveling!
So after all these years of just being weird, we're suddenly "cool"?
Oh my! Where were these girls when I was 22? :1:
Just exactly what is she "demonstrating" Dusty
i'm a filthy hipster with more trumpets than brain cells to hold common sense, and now i'm onna little guzzi. seriously, we meet up at the local coffee joints to appreciate each others i-devices, discuss shitty band, plan matching bird tats, and figure out how to ruin the motorcycle lifestyle images of geezers. ;-)
Sounds like fun!! How cool! Wondering about the possibility of being a geezer hipster...it could happen!
Give me a shout Mike , some folks think I am a geezer/hipster Dusty
I think if I reply with "LOL", that makes me a hipster...
Hey, that's what I am, a geezer/hipster! Yeah, that's it!
My apologies. I should have made it clearer that I was being sarcastic. I have a V7, and ride it everywhere, including cross country. I prefer it to bigger bikes like my previous FJR or GS1200. I was poking gentle fun at the folks who think a 50hp, 750 cc bike is somehow inadequate to tour on. Not true. 50 hp is plenty in my opinion, at least for solo riding, and the absence of excess weight is a pleasure each moment.
Someone posted this on another board and I thought it was funny enough to repost here Hipster clamp
