We just came back to the Kid's Place. 222 registerd. Had a great time as always, met some new and old friends. It's like a family reunion where you like everybody.😉
As usual broke camp in a thunderstorm.. blasted off and stayed ahead of it.
Good times. :thumb:

I generally see one or two a year other than at a rally..

The weather was great ! And the weatherman forecasted ZERO rain for the 3 days.  More on that, later.
The turnout was great ! (222, I think)
The people were great !
The food was great !

SSo..... up early Sunday morning and heading south.
The sun is coming up and I hear thunder.
Hmmmmm - THAT can't be right !

Check the weather radar, and YIKES !

Managed to get off the road and into a McDonald's, about two minutes before it hit.

Brad and I looked at my aviation wx app, and decided we could wait it out, then ride in the rain all the way home, or blast off and get in front of it. Brad said, "Lets roll.." so we left in fairly heavy rain. We were out of it and stayed in front of it in 30 miles.  Great ride home on Wisconsin alphabet roads, Illinois back roads, and back into Wisconsin. Set our stuff out to dry in the sunshine.

I got up early and packed before the storm, but it caught us at the BP restaurant.  I left with a BMW rider that lives in Missouri (Dan) and rode half way home with him.  Only about 30 minutes of light rain for us.

The rally was the normal great time, although that Hemp beer was weird.   :boozing:
