I have no affiliation with this bike, just offering the information.
03 EV less than 6000 miles, said to be showroom condition. It’s on Craig’s list, look under WINSTON-SALEM NC if interested. Listed at 5300.00 OBO.

Interesting, and a nice-looking bike. Problem is (for the seller) that you can buy those bikes all day long for $3500 .....

Yea that’s a fact but if someone really had their heart set on that model and year spending a little more for that milage may be ok or at least offer to split the difference.

Looks like a nice 98 V11 EV for sale here in Santa Fe for a decent asking price. I'd be happy to check it out for anyone interested.

Unfortunately, this means my 00 Bassa isn't worth much at all.

that's NICE, But your Bassa has the later CPU that's not the size of a large cigar box.. tuning is slightly easier on the Bassa and the look is cleaner.

I agree and he DOES say "best offer". So many people these days, though, get all stroppy and hot under the collar about "time-wasting lowball offers" if you were to "split the difference" between the normal market value and the asking price (which in this case would be a $4400 offer, still high) ... that I hesitate to make them any more unless I know the guy ....

All true, but that's only known to a small number of aficionados with fewer still who are in the market for a Cal of that series. But none of this diminishes my affection for the Bassa.
