I used to have some sort of blocker on this computer that kept FB from tracking me. I got rid of it because it kept me from seeing photos linked to on FB even though I had a FB account and was active there.

Anyway, I'm glad Nick came along and fixed things. Nice to have smart people around. :)

I've been trying to follow her evacuation but am a little confused as to what became of Bassati, her faithful ride. She said she wasn't leaving her behind but didn't see information about shipping or storage. Or maybe she's intentionally leaving out the storage information to reduce theft chances. I'm bummed her journey ended prematurely but very glad she's safe. Maybe we'll be updated on her new podcast.

Basanti was her previous Himalayan, the current one is Dhanno. IIRC, she found a secure storage facility in Peru.

She stored it at a shipping agent, if the worst happens she will get it shipped on otherwise pick it up and continue on.

So, I get an email from Noraly this morning about her neck gator / buff / neck sock that she is selling. I click on the link and they are already "Sold Out". Good for her, but I would have liked to have bought one. I wear them on every ride already, so supporting her would have been nice.

I watched that earlier today, and thought 'man, I've only dumped a bike once in the mud by accident, and thought that was an adventure.' As I said in a previous post, she makes me very humble about my biking experiences.

Agree with you but I watched it anyway. The title is "Motorcycle CRASHES, SCARY moments & OUTTAKES of 60.000 kms Itchy Boots". None of the crashes are crazy bad and it also includes a bunch of other stuff. She handled adversity better than I would have, I think. Anyway, it's a good video.

Email with shipping notification and a DHL tracking number on 6/17. Arrived California today, 7/3.
Lucky delivery. The attached packing slip (folded) had correct address on the hidden inside. The exposed delivery address had no street number. Fortunately, small street with only four houses so it got to our box. If we lived on a major road, that might have delayed or destroyed the order.

Noraly is off again; this time in Iceland. A place I'd never had considered visiting but is stunning in an Ireland, lots of greenery & mist way.

She is an admirable cheerful soul.
