Make every stoplight a Moto GP start!...id wring its puny little neck...

Wear your humpbacked streamlined racing leathers...

Drop visor at 30 seconds.....

Raise the Rpms to a scream....(highest torque I believe)

Drop clutch, shift at redline...beat Grandma one block to the next stoplight...

Repeat...

As the owner of a similar (Piaggio-made) Derbi GPR 50 Replica, I can highly recommend … and it's more usable than you might imagine. I've done 100-mile Tiddler Tours on mine. As long as you fold yourself up on it, keep the revs between 7,000 - 9,000 rpm and get ready for a left ankle workout.

They're really cool, and GREAT fun!

Is that a realistic price? Would much rather have this than a Vespa 50.

Yes, pretty much fair market...make a few 100 extra due to mod's, plus wiggle/negotiating room.

Biggest problem with these is to find one that hasn't been raced, wrecked or over-revved. Many are in the hands of what we'll call a "younger" audience, as opposed to more mature buyers...who might be better able to care for and maintain them.

I bought my Derbi (see below) because it was bone stock, and was essentially new with a mere couple of hundred miles on it. Of course, the odometers normally don't get heavily loaded, since they are what they are.

P.S. -- yes, I run a MOPED plate, too.
