If some idiot had attacked my bike with a high pressure water lance I would have shoved it up his arse to see how he liked it.

I would have, but why reward bad behaviour ?

About 44 days on the water and it leaves there in 3 weeks.
With the V85, if I want a Ronald McDonald one I can have it now, a red/white one will be end of this month.
I’m going to wait for a red one like Glawster’s and that’ll be Septemberish.

Wrong choice, the Rosso Kalahari is a tad faster than the red one.

1. You already have an all red bike.
2. Deep down inside don"t you really want that red frame?  That is where the extra speed comes from.

Well mate, we may not have been able to organize a crossing of paths, but our bikes finally managed it.
This as we dropped our 1200 Sport off at Felixstowe this morning. Now ensconced in the Premier Inn at Gatwick airport ready to fly out in the morning.
Apparently the 'tent' was full of bikes so ours are inside, but I'm not sure that's such a good thing as it's pretty grimy in there and yours already has a light coating of dust.

It’d be good if they got up to a bit of hanky panky in the container on the way home Larry..
I can picture it now..
A smaller (younger) baby version of my Norge.
Maybe 900 cc, 7/8 th scale, with the same fairing style but the attractive graphics of your Sport.
I might even ask for my money back on the V 85...!

That Jim Croce intro brought back a lot of memories. It was a sad day when he died.

G'Day Pete.

Great to see that your on the road and enjoying Europe! Looking forward to reading your upcoming posts.
Ride safe and soak in the wonderment.

It's remarkable that your bike wasn't the only one in that Get-Routed container I am Familiar with.

Larry n Norma picked up their 1200S in Spain, and are now in Greece/Turkey.

What..
And be relegated to that horrible upstairs room overlooking the French countryside, with the warm fragrant air dancing through a beautiful space, all the while digesting a wonderful meal washed down with red wine, coupled with stimulating conversation and the knowlege that tomorrow you’ll be fed breakfast and wished well on your ride through the hills to Paris...?
Then have to drift off to a peaceful sleep and dream about extraordinary riding through the Alps, only to find that the reality is even better..?
What a lousy offer...!
