Title: Rickman Metisse build...
Post by: twowheeladdict on March 17, 2019, 07:51:17 PM
Nice bike build.  Rickman Metisse

Is it just me or does a girl on a bike automatically become more beautiful?

Helps a lot when you’re not too shabby to begin with..
I wondered if there was any danger of her starting it ?

The welds on a Rickman could be framed and hung on a wall in pride of place. :thumb:

Hats off to Daughter and Dad for a mighty fine build.

A stark contrast to "an alternative universe devoid of reality".

True, but don't think that the company that built the tank, seat, sidecover kit doesn't make some wild stuff for competitions.

I got to ride a Rickman-Montessa 250 back in the seventies. An absolutely beautiful machine! I just knew that I'd break that bodywork if I rode it in the woods...

There was a Canadian who raced a Rickman Triumph in AHRMA events , it was a stunning piece , too lovely to race , he said "it's just a motorbike" . Don and Derek played a large roll in the development of the MX world in Europe , and yes , the welds are works of art , heck , the entire frame is deserving of a place in the Louvre .

From the 2nd photo I am wondering what the rake and trail is on that bike?
