Nice pix. Glad to see you finally got it over to The Dragon~!
I was there in June of this year as well.JBhttp://s273.photobucket.com/user/ratguzzi/library/deals%20gap%20June%202015
Yeah, the poor guy ... all this time and never ridden the Dragon before .... I'll bet he's invested in KillBoy Inc stock by now ... The company before last that I worked for, specifically disallowed reimbursement for motorcycles for business trips. Might not have stood up in court, but there it was. But for the last one, I made several reimbursed trips ... $.51 a mile will pay for a lot of gas and tires for sure, considering that depreciation is zip on a 30-year-old Guzzi!Lannis
At 40mpg and $3/gal, that's around 7.5 cents/mile. 6000 miles would be $3000 after gas. I have near $7000 into the Corsa with about $1800 of it for unimportant stuff like the Ti exhaust, seat, laminar lip, tires, oil, etc. Another 10,000 work miles (another set of tires and oil) I could junk the bike and break even...... Paid to ride a Guzzi! What a dream! I was impressed John with the quality of the sound on the vid. Wind noise was not excessive and you could actually hear the bike as you would on board. It made for a much more pleasant watch than is often the case. What sort of camera were you using and where/how was it mounted?
All my other vids were handheld with my left hand. I finally bought the little cube gopro and that was sort of my first real bike vid.Just a simple clamp that didn't hold well until I drilled a hole thru it and added a screw.JB
A go Pro. What did you screw it to John, helmet, bars?
