Yes, It followed me home.

They have some V7 III's as low as 6,200.  Brand new.

$9,500 for a brand new Eldorado, I'd have taken it home too, and I don't even particularly want a bike that big.
For, for $9,500, I'd give it a go!

Congratulations to you sir. She's a beauty. Are they getting out of the Moto Guzzi line or just selling their current inventory below cost to stop the payments on them?

I was surprised and somewhat saddened the nearly new (<500 miles) and well accessorized all black Eldorado didn't get a single bid on eBay at $7900.

You tube can be enlightening. A blogger described retro classic bikes as modern bikes made to look old. But he then said Moto Guzzis didn't need to go down that road, they still make real classics, modernized, but not that changed from the '80's.
A Beautiful 'Classic' Eldorado, very stunning in red!

Oh, oh, and they could call it an Eldorado 850!   Hmmmm, I wonder if that's been done before?

Yes, that'd be a great machine to have.

2018 V7 Stones for $6,200 and there's a V7 III (the shiny one) for $6,500.
All brand new leftover models with the full 2 year factory warranty.

And more.

The owner's tell me that they have new bikes coming and need to clear out some inventory - that Moto Guzzi is working with them on this.... and I don't mind a leftover bike, especially since it came with the factory 2 year warranty.

Get 'em while they're hot !

The best part of this deal is that they're 45 minutes from my house.

AND - the Schlafly brewery is just across the street from them.

So, what is in the stable today, and what isn't getting ridden much?

I would be interested to hear how the two Moto Guzzis compare with each other.

2017 Harley Heritage Softail
2017 Kawasaki Versys 1000
2017 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer
2016 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 1400
2014 Yamaha Roadliner S
2014 Yamaha VStar1300
1973 BMW R75/5 LWB - Toaster tank

That old airhead doesn't get ridden much.  The Wife won't ride on the back of the Versys or the Beemer or the Eldorado or the Roamer.  We're not 18 anymore, and two chubbies don't always fit the smaller motorcycle seats.    :thumb:

The VStar1300 and the Roadliner get the most miles.  The rest are running even.

Which two Guzzi's would you like to compare?  If it's the V9 and the Eldorado - I wouldn't know where to start.    :undecided:
That Eldorado is more likely to get ya in trouble.
 :bike-037:

I've put about 400 miles on that Eldorado and (so far) liking it very much.

Dang it...I'm headed to the Pick n Pull Saturday. I may have to stop by there on the way home. Not that I can afford one but just to look at the purdy bikes. And to stop at the Schafly brewery. Haven't been there since about 93.

Nice stable.  What happened to the little Versys?

I love the look of the red Eldorado.  I sat on one in El Paso but I think I have decided the Road Glide is my last big bike.  Since my touring is limited to trailering a bike places and I love how I am not limited to nice roads when on the Himalayan or Van Van, I think those will go on trips more than the big Harley will.

What happened to the little Versys?

That little Versys got sold to a nice man from Illinois that picked it up with one of those little Harbor Freight trailers with a piece of U-channel bolted onto it, and hitched to a Mazda Miata

That's one hell of a deal! and what a great looking bike to boot. :thumb: I would be tempted to trade my 72 Eldorado for one like that.
