Ride reports

Okay. This may be embarrassing but what are ride reports? I assume they are just reports on riding conditions in your area. But my mom told me a saying about assume that I still remember! So I’m asking.

And if you’re around west Georgia, the weather is perfect, traffic is light, and cops are in a good mood. Get out there!

A ride report can be different things . Daniel Kalal lets his photos do the talking , Huzo mixes in some pictures with text , as does Guzzistajohn .
mshershon just posted a ride report , Nick949 writes of his exploits in Ontario , often times with pictures or video. Just tell us a story about a ride you took in whatever manner you are comfortable with .

Ok, a couple of weeks ago on the T3, my wife on her er6 (her mk3 Le Mans will be back on the road after the salt disappears)
In Scotland and restricted to our county by the thought police.

I was going to say that there’s nothing complements bike footage like a good song choice...Until I heard those accents.
I could listen to that all day, along with Sarf Lodndon...
Then there’s Italian. Spoilt for choice..
Nice one . :thumb:

Good Gawd! I thought the roads in Italy were narrow! Beautiful country you live in but dang! How do you negotiate the right of way with a bigger vehicle when you come across one as opposing traffic? Most of the road you were on would be considered a paved driveway or lane in my neck of the woods. Oddly enough, some of them are nearly as long as well. Though I have been on many out here that are as narrow but not nearly as improved.
Good video. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video Gino! Thanks for sharing. We’re you using a helmet or chest mounted camera?

Thanks all, chest mounted. GoPro. Yes we have many “single track “ roads, there are passing places or pullouts as the Americans call them. That road generally doesn’t have anything heavier than a pickup but if there is forestry work you never know. Of course further North we have many main routes like that which do have RV’s and Trucks, go easy is the key and assume everyone is a lost tourist who doesn’t know which side of the road too be on.
Thinking of putting slightly higher bars on the T3 as I’m finding it a pain on longer journeys.

Geno, I gotta tell you when I first started the video and saw the first car coming at you, it scared the ever lovin' crap outa me. Driving on the left seems like it would be hard to get used to! Nice video and beautiful countryside however!

I used to do a lot of them.  If you search "ride report rocker59"  you should find some.

There is one on this thread:  https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=74520.0

Nice to see some hilly roads as they're virtually non existent in the flat lands of Lincolnshire, but I thought the snipper was a nice touch  :copcar:

Highly likely to freak out anyone in the UK outside of the airports and big cities where the cops might be visibly armed

I probably ride in a year as much on the right (in other countries) but I must admit it’s harder coming home and sometimes I can’t remember which side I’m meant to be on!

I enjoy ride reports with photos and videos of far away places I've never been. I wish we had more posting them. Daniel's are awesome!
