Also a 1952 Galletto....this guy (blue shirt) passes me on a tight little mountain road on the way up to Forno di Zoldo  (northern italia) a few years back...I try to catch him and it turns out he's at the same Refugio we are... I ask him about the bike and he says it was his uncles first bike and then says I can take it for a ride if I take a photo of him and our host daughter on it for his buddies...lol ...she obliged him cause she knew I wanted to give it a spin....too fun and it had more get up and go than I thought

that would be a fun project

Dang, if it was near me I'd buy it. I saw a red one a few years ago at a swap meet and regret not getting it.

Would love one - if it were around the corner.

These 2 were parked within a block or 2 of each other (in Mandello).  the red one was ridden by an old guy doing errands.

Well, the galletto is on it's way home with me.  A big thank you to Bill Owens for making it happen for me.  The seller was difficult to deal with for me.  Bill took the bull by the horns,  went over and bought the bike for me an stored it till i could pick it up.  On top of that he made my wife an i breakfast!!  Again, thanks to Bill an the forum.  Some great guzzi people here !!
