This weekend, a little fine detail, maybe a dab of never dull and some new gas lines and battery and I’ll be ready to go pick up those pretty painted bits.  :thumb:

John, I've had pretty good results using flitz polish on shiny bits. For exhaust parts I would dab it on ultra fine steel wool then put it in the center of a rag and work it like I was polishing a shoe. Cleaned up a few pipes nicely that way. Can't open your pic so I can't tell if you're pipes are polished or flat. I used a lot of neverdull when I was in the Coast Guard🫡, too much brass on those old cutters.

Looks good.  Will it get new LeMans CX100 decals?  If so, where do they come from?  I would like to get some spare decals.

My best bud had a 1200 Gold Wing Aspencade, well after almost 30 years it was looking pretty tattered so he talked to his neighbor about a repaint. When I saw it after word he was just furious, with it. They sprayed it metallic wineberry with metallic silver accents, but it was clear coated with pearl flakes in the clear, lots and lots of pearl.  Depending on how or when you looked there was always some pink showing and to finish it off he had  lavender pinstripes and piping on.the seat. So for his birthday I bought a gold plastic crown for him.
