Profit is overrated-  I’ve lost money on every meal I’ve eaten…

Thanks for the videos, Ben.

Edit-my suggestion is that you title each audio-oriented video as ASMR for people who simply find pleasure in listening to the sounds of that machine running.

Thanks Ben!! Man that Matchless is a beauty! So, what's up with the blue muffler tip on the V50? How did that happen, just curious.

The v50 came that way Steve. It didn’t seem to run lean. Maybe just the way the Bubs were made.

Thanks Clint. I’m not familiar with ASMR. What does it mean/do?

Thanks Clint. I’m not familiar with ASMR. What does it mean/do?

Basically it is a head rush induced by pleasurable sounds.

Thanks Clint. I’m not familiar with ASMR. What does it mean/do?

Basically it is a head rush induced by pleasurable sounds.

Like Dave says, it’s about pleasing sounds.  I had seen them on yt but never knew what it meant.  During Spring break travel with our daughter, I mentioned how I enjoyed listening to my stone carving videos when I’m not able to be in studio because I miss listening to my pneumatic tools against the stone.  My daughter (junior in college) then tutored me about ASMR videos..   There are supposedly people who spend time specifically searching & viewing interesting, pleasing or meditative sounds videos instead of typical visual videos.  It can expose content- visceral, artistic/creative or otherwise- to a very different audience.  Very cool imho.

so I posted one yesterday on my studio channel   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMTKt3De1o0
and it’s averaging about 10 views an hour which is like going viral compared to my normal view stats.

Wow! What a pleasure to click through those! And the V50--- who'd have known that would be such a sonorous beauty?! But my favorite is the SR500, heh heh heh....

That RD 350 Yamaha reminds me of being 18 in 1976.
