Title: 308 miles of Ozarks hills
Post by: Guzzistajohn on July 16, 2016, 07:52:28 PM
It's been awhile since I've gotten to spend all day getting in some quality time with a motorsickle. Well, today all the stars were in alignment, Barb's weekend to work, fixed us a nice omelette with home grown 'mater in it and I was on the road by 9:30.

Headed down MO 125 from Strafford, mo. @ old rt. 66, 1st stop Gladetop trailhead. You can go east here and ride 40 some miles of gravel through the boondocks but not today 125 has fresh pavement all the way to Protem, Mo.

Great ride all the way to the Peel ferry only had to pass two cars. Got right on the ferry, my timing was perfect. Plenty of pirates on the boat ride today, even one with dreadlocks arrrrrrr matey

By now, this dude was ready for something to eat so old Tre was pointed right to my #1 eating establishment The Low Gap Cafe for a nice salmon salad :thumb:

Took a little stop along the way for a Kodak moment. Got a nice shot of an orange cone

They are probably looking for their friends - " wander the land looking for things resembling roadworks. Occasionally one might watch you doing some gardening in the hope that you will dig a hole "

I found that one, it works, but not the one I was looking for. I think the one I was looking for was hosted at a college, but now it's a page for the college. Many links back to the college page.

Thanks!

But now what about Roadside America and the muffler men???
