Good sticks, too.  I've read it, and if memory serves  it is fictional, but based in fact.

That movie where Ed Harris is the German sniper, Jude Law is the Russian sniper and Bob Hoskins is Khrushchev is a good one.  (Enemy at the Gates)

Another good one is the "Death of Stalin".  It's a black comedy.   Steve Buscemi is Khrushchev in that one. 

None of my comments have anything to do with the subject but are good movies.

Yeah but can you name the female love interest of Vasily......no cheating and looking it up.  🤪  Both are good movies by the way.

Nope.  I can only think of Rachel Weiss in another Russian movie with Daniel Craig.  They were Jews living in the woods for years escaping the Nazis.  If I remember right, after the war they emigrated and started a trucking company.

But NO!  I can't remember the actors.  I remember that Ed Harris used a 12 year old as bait.  Quite a tear jerker.

For fun. watch the other movie.  Heck if Stalin is dead, it's gotta be good.

You got it.  It's Rachel Weiss.  The other movie is set in the Polish woods.  Resistance fighters.  I have a copy of that movie but can't remember the name of the movie.  🙆‍♂️
