Rocker arm failure !! Can se an casting error.

Well its possible, high stress area on the inside web.
Isnt it a pisser that you cant win lotto for money but you got one rocker out of millions in service that broke.
It happens, unfortunately, at least shrapenal didnt find its way down to something really expensive.
Order a new part, sit back and enjoy a beer, you deserve it.

Well its possible, high stress area on the inside web.

I had a winning ticket in that lottery, too!

Happened to my '98 EV ... at 188 miles! 

The dealer and MGNA -- pre-Piaggio -- declined warranty repair as they said I'd abused it.   :shocked:

As you might suppose, they changed their minds (assuming any were at play  :rolleyes:) when I said LOOK AT THE TWO PIECES CLOSELY!  The casting failure was obvious.  Wondering now if mine might not have first of X, as dealer and MGNA seemed surprised, even dumbfounded.

That sweet machine now has 104,000 miles.    :bow:

Call Pinwall and get a used one. I'd get a pushrod too.
Pushrod was ok, got used rocker arm from England (Gutsibits)
