Alaska bound, her new bike is called Alaska.....

I didn't hear her say where she would pick up her South America trip, but she said Alaska is calling.

yep, some people only watch the races for the crashes, or hockey for the fights.

Her drone footage combined with music choice have made her videos rival many high budget travel video productions.

Huh, she never crashes, and even the announcers are surprised when a puck goes into the net.
She overcomes and survives her bad decisions and the struggle was more engaging when she didn't know what she was doing.
Now we don't wonder if there might not be a next episode.

All on the road, going nowhere in particular.

Well, this bike lasted 8 months with her. Wonder what bike #3 will be. Probably a very "Rally" worthy mount of some sort obviously.

Well at least shes not wearing that face diaper.

We don't really know if she crashes do we?   She edits her video, and certainly doesn't show every minute of every ride.   I wouldn't assume she is showing us all her worst moves.

No you don’t.   You get to see the outtakes she wants you to see.  And that’s kind of cool.  I give her credit for being real.    I’m simply saying she likely doesn’t show video that presents her in a light that may not make sense to her brand, nothing wrong with that.

Some of you guys seem to have never encountered a self-actualized, independent woman capable of making her own decisions without consulting the male 'experts' in her life or hovering over her like helicopter heroes.
This person has logged thousands of tough, lonely miles in severe terrains and weathers on a variety of motos, possibly more than many of us will aggregrate as a  GROUP of riders.
Exercise a little restraint.

Like letting a cuss word slip out. aye?

She used to not want to show any mistakes.  Didn't want that to be the focus.

These guys are quite restrained compared to the guys on the Himalayan forum.  They feel abandoned that she switched rides, and many postulate that she is secretly getting paid by a corporation and has a production crew and whatnot because there is no way a "girl" could do that on her own.

Had it returned to Europe, but it was badly decayed and sounded like it was damaged in shipping as well, so she scrapped it as far as I can tell.

I will say I don't think I would like having to continually look at the road book and the terrain back and forth.  My eyes just aren't that good.  Glad she is pursuing what she wants to pursue instead of just focusing on what the viewers may want to watch.

I see some of these up and coming moto content creators trying to copy what works for others while trying to find their niche.  And of course many are putting references to Itchy Boots in their titles trying to get noticed by the youtube algorithms that put videos in our feed.

The whole concept of taking one's eyes off the trail to look at a screen pretty much continuously seems like a good way to get seriously injured to me . Now if they invented a heads up display on your helmet visor $$$$$$$$$.

I'm a huge fan of hers. I know she likes to advance and learn. She has stated that racing is different from riding solo in out of the way spaces, and racing is far safer in terms of medical help available, etc.. It will be interesting to see if she can really undo the years of common sense self preservation, and go balls to the wall in a racing environment. Being careful can be dangerous in a race.  I hope she does not get hurt.

Yeah, the race book sounds like an interesting tool to learn to use, but not a very fun way to ride.

She spoke of pushing herself in that manner as opposed to having to be careful while soloing in the middle of nowhere, and that means a different set of risks.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Meh. I don't get it. But I don't get a lot of social media types either.

The only person I follow is Baron Von Grumble. It started with his GSXR in a green lane, to his becoming a motojournalist while still running his company. It's a more realistic view of a real person doing real things.

YMMV

Sounds pretty boring watching a real person doing real things.  Like watching my wife clean house, cook, and talk on the phone with her mother and girl friends.

I have a enough trouble reading a roll chart on Steve Rossi's Tiddler tour while riding my XL125, never mine on a fast enduro bike in the desert with no street signs.

It was in pretty good shape considering the abuse it took.  Hope those guys did a great job on it.  I'm still hoping for New Zealand next.  Enough off road and geology to keep her interested, and selfishly I want to see it through the lens of Noraly to build my desire to go ride there.

Quite a few motorcycle orientated NZ YouTube channels, Little Ghost, is a rally guy and takes his Guzzi all over, my own channel, a bit of everything really, I'm sure there are other Guzzi orientated channels that can showcase the New Zealand rides. However, feel free to ask anything about anywhere in NZ here. I know there are other Kiwi riders lurking about also!

Thanks. My son is currently living near Hamilton and I hope to get over there in the next couple years. Was supposed to go Christmas 2020.  I hope to either rent a bike or buy one in my son's name that he can sell for me when I leave if I can find one that can be flipped pretty easy.  Hope to spend enough time to really see the country because I am not sure how many times I will be able to go.
