CLICK BAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought this was gonna be a real ridden review. Instead, it's an opinion piece similar to the other 1000 we already have on the board. Can this thread be merged? I could have been changing the world in the 5 minutes time that I wasted here
The subject caption has review in half-quotes, so you were warned. Regardless, I thought it was a very interesting piece of speculation. We should hope hes right.
I was just kidding even with my first post.
a valid point of grammer.
All very good points you raise mate..But if you are going to tear someone a new arse and educate them, you'll really need to proof read your stuff.Aussies who have at least secondary school education do use double quotation marks.I'm just an interstate truck driver with a Tech school education, but as I understand it, double quotation marks are used to quote the spoken word and singles are to signify a 'tongue in cheek' reference to an example of common phraseology or vernacular. Also from your post..?That'd be "grammar""Grammer", is the surname of that Yank actor on Cheers and Frasier..
Aussies. Pffft. Heathens. Each and every one of you.
I'm just an interstate truck driver
Learned something new today. I didn't know Australia had states.
Interesting article and glad to see some interest from the 'rags' but lets face it..... People dont go to Moto Guzzi Dealers even when they can find one. Yet, there is some hope as the ADV bikes are hot, but why would someone seek out a MG dealer when there is the Africa Twin, V Strom, KLR, Ducati's 3-4 BMW's.etc. I predict no converts.....
What else would you expect from the acknowledged best country in the world ?
I'm enjoying this discussion on Australia more than I enjoyed the blog post on the V85. Is that wrong?
Oz is a federation. States, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania plus two Territories, the Northern Territory and thr Australian Capital Territory. Which is a bit like Washington DC in the fact that it is an *Island* inside NSW and is the seat of Federal Government. The whole thing is pretty bloody stupid as all states, (Except Queensland.) have full, adversarial, bi-cameral parliaments based on the Westminster system. With our tiny population this is bloody insane but it does mean we have plenty of greedy shitgibbons with their noses in the trough! Three levels of government! Local, (Councils.) State and Federal, none of them ever agree on anything and with a population of only 23 million it's all a vast travesty of waste and duplication! Off to the Gullags with them all! Pete
I remember back in primary school we learned they couldn't even agree on the railway gauge between statesAustralia sounds a lot like Canada eh!
