Lowering Norge footpegs

What is the Goldwing ‘peg replacement solution for the Norge ?

   been a while since I did it but if I remember right they were from a GL series Goldwing and they also needed the correct springs over the pins holding them on. Was definitely worth it.

How much lower were they ?

  Wasn't much, maybe 1/2 inch, but they were longer and wider. Much more comfortable.

This could apply to any bikes pegs but Ive had some used bikes that I bought and noticed the spring popped out and was gone and I just bought an allen head bolt that went thru the whole unit, put on a little blue thread and nut and it was fine. This of course only works if the peg sits in place on its own and doesnt pivot down, Good luck

Goldwing GL1800 pegs and springs…here’s a set I have waiting to go on if my current set needs replacing.  About 1/2 inch lower, nicely wider and better rubber for vibration than stock pegs.
