Mike Duphiney - Iron MIke
« on: August 25, 2016, 02:37:13 PM »
Mike Duphiney AKA Iron Mike
On behalf of Mike’s family and a personal Thank you from me we want thank everyone who helped in the distribution of Mikes motorcycle related items. Doing so will help keep Mikes spirit alive and his family’s wish that his items (his ash’s and motorcycle related items ) be distributed IN THE WIND. Randy Tefft will be taking the remainder of Mikes to Texas for the Rally in September-October so Mike’s friends may have a closure in his memory.

It has been six months since his passing and things are moving forward. His property in Bridgeport Ct. has a few offers and that is moving forward toward closing. I have sold eight motorcycles plus related parts, his family has sold cars, tools etc. to offset his final expenses and with your help we are now able to move forward.
He was a great friend to all –He is missed
Thank you again as his memory will be riding with you with every part you may use to keep your Guzzi running

Think I sold Iron Mike a chrome centerstand for a Tonti Guzzi a few years ago that mounted on the front motor mount bolt.  Would like to buy it back now if possible.  Funny how your preferences change.

Message Tom, I don't think he goes to the site every day.

I will never forget the evening I was cut off the I95 ramp near Sikorsky and twisted my 75T and myself up a bit and you guys came to my rescue the next day with Mike hauling and storing my bike at his place and you running me up to the airport to get a rental car to drive home, including the crutches you lent me!
I picked up the bike a week later and got to see Mike's uh museum!
I am still grateful for your help..
