Forever Riding
« on: July 11, 2019, 08:44:09 AM »
With great sadness my dad has passed Bob Waterman. He had wild guzzi as his homepage. He had been a Guzzi rider since 1972. Putting on more the 300k on Guzzi's alone not to mention the miles put on his Goldwing and his Can am Spyder when his knees didn't work to well. He use to go to the Emmaus ralleys and miss very few West Virginia Ralleys. He was one of the founders of the New England Moto Guzzi club. Now he can ride all the time and hopefully not in the rain.

Jeez that’s a nice thought to see someone off with mate.
Hang on to your memories, they will re visit you perpetually whenever you go somewhere that you shared with him.
Best wishes...
Peter..(Huzo)

I didn't know your father, thanks for sharing the memories, heartwarming to read.

My Dad's been gone over 15 yrs, he didn't share my love of riding, but he always had my back, and always will.

I'm very glad you have great memories to bolster your life, as you continue on with out him.
I'm certain you meant the world to him; as he did for you.  Good fortune, R3~

I'm sorry to hear that. It's likely I had met him since you mentioned he frequented the W.Va. Rally but I'm not putting a face to the name.

RIP Bob.

A wonderful man. I met him at the W. Virginia rally and might have met him at the old Emmaus rally, I think in '74.
