Why deep discounts on the Norge?

There was a new generation about half way through with the update to the 8V engine, new fairing and other bits like handlebars windscreen and so on.

Alas, the model has run its course.

It doesn't seem to make much sense for MG to continue with a ST, Griso or Stelvio, it has Aprilia to handle that. I see it paring down to the V9 maybe and if they manage to liquid cool the bikes, move the MGX21 and other big block models to that engine where Aprilia has no crossover.
