Here's a  pile ,no title, lots of rust...But considering bevel drive prices it may be a bargain...

I'm betting that by time bidding ends, it will no longer be a "bargain".

It looks competely restorable, and I'd agree that the eventual price will reflect that especially given low mileage backed up by what appears to be an original front tire.

I will be surprised if the reserve is less than $9K. It's going to take at lest another $8 ~ 10K or more to restore it.

Nice Patina, it would be sad if they repaint it.

Why does every ad for some non-running lump of rust claim "it has good compression" ? Is that kinda like *ran when parked* ?

I see a $10K pile of parts that will need at least that much more to get sorted . What does  decent 750 GT bring these days ?

Roughly $20K.  Most projects like this are a break even proposition at best, but people seem to like them because (1) they get to restore the bike for the first time, not redo somebody else's poorly done work and (2) they can buy the fully restored bike in small increments versus coming up with the cash in a single payment.  I wouldn't be surprised if this bike sells for a little under $10K, possibly for export.

At Mecum in Vegas this past January a 1974 750 GT (lot T327) that was beautifully restored to like new condition went for just over $29K

A runner might be had for $13 ~ 16K but a properly restored one is going to get at least $25K. There was a restored red / black 74 GT on Craigslist in southern California asking $29K, was on for a couple months at that price, no idea if it sold.

Also at Vegas this January two Ducati 900 GTS, red one that was beautiful went for $11K and a blue one for $8.8K.

The 1975 Ducati 860 GT I bought a couple weeks ago (and yet to arrive) is coming with a spare frame and swing arm, now just to find a donor Vincent motor
