I guess this poses the question, does anyone in the Northwest (preferable Seattle area) have a good Guzzi wrench recommendation? I was a mere 2 miles from Moto International that closed also. Independent wrenches? ex- employees? I don't want to give up the brand, and was obviously spoiled by Moto International's location, but it feels frustrating...
Thanks moto vitaI hadn't heard of Optimum in Kirkland. I've been unfortunately Inactive in riding the last 10 or 11 months and just thought of thisSituation when I hope to get back in the saddle and riding againBy late spring or summer. Being out of contact with events and Local riders in the area one loses the latest updates of localNews. Of course I would support a local dealerAnd what's with "behoove me"?
I'm suggesting that since, unlike many of us, you have a local dealer you should give them every chance to succeed.
To address a few things, in the Seattle area, Optimum Performance Motorsports https://opmotorsports.com/ is now your Moto Guzzi dealer. Portland Moto Guzzi has unfortunately closed down and they will not be re-opening again. Piaggio is trying very hard to get someone to pick up the dealership there though so hopefully the area won't go without Moto Guzzi services for very long. Before spring hits there should be an answer.
There's several MC shops the Portland MG technicians may have transferred to. I'd start there. If none did, then perhaps the MotoCorsa folks would like some simple MG relief from wrenching their complex Italians. I know my GPM technician did.
