I guess this poses the question, does anyone in the Northwest (preferable Seattle area) have a good Guzzi wrench recommendation? I was a mere 2 miles from Moto International that closed also.   Independent wrenches? ex- employees? I don't want to give up the brand, and was obviously spoiled by Moto International's location, but it feels frustrating...

It might behoove you to try to support the dealer in Kirkland.

Wow, that's too bad for the dealer and the Moto Guzzi owners in the area. And yes your correct Kevin, where are the MG mechanics in the PNW?

(Kind of makes you question having a Moto Guzzi dealership...)  I thought about getting a hold of Moto Corsa in Portland to see if they would work on Moto Guzzi's  ; (by- passing the sales staff).

Thanks moto vita
I hadn't heard of Optimum in Kirkland. I've been unfortunately
Inactive in riding the last 10  or 11 months and just thought of this
Situation when I hope to get back in the saddle and riding again
By late spring or summer. Being out of contact with events and
Local riders in the area one loses the latest updates of local
News. Of course I would support a local dealer
And what's with "behoove me"?

I'm hoping for the best for Rick and Annie.  Rick started his motorcycle career assembling Yamahas for me when he was in High School and I had a shop back in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  When I sold the shop, the first thing the new owner did was get a Guzzi franchise, so Rick has had a long history with the brand.

I'm suggesting that since, unlike many of us, you have a local dealer you should give them every chance to succeed.

Well again I was always happy with the work they did and it sad to see this happen.

To address a few things, in the Seattle area, Optimum Performance Motorsports https://opmotorsports.com/ is now your Moto Guzzi dealer.

Portland Moto Guzzi has unfortunately closed down and they will not be re-opening again. Piaggio is trying very hard to get someone to pick up the dealership there though so hopefully the area won't go without Moto Guzzi services for very long. Before spring hits there should be an answer.

I guess --19 hampered the plan.

There's several MC shops the Portland MG technicians may have transferred to.  I'd start there.  If none did, then perhaps the MotoCorsa folks would like some simple MG relief from wrenching their complex Italians.  I know my GPM technician did.

I intend to join the Oregon Moto Guzzi Owners Club and I'm sure there will be excellent resources through there too.
