Title: no ride today, but beer and music
Post by: lucydad on January 10, 2015, 12:21:59 PM
All,

Got up and scooped poodle poop, did some yard work, pulled tropical plants out of garage.  Then came the next wave of rain.
Rodekyll inspired me to ride today, but the rain beat me to it.

So its beer and music.

Here is the beer:

Wow I love this Triple from Belgium:  clean, complex, wonderful nose, and 8% alcohol.  Drank half and will save the rest for football playoffs.

Music right now:

Iris is perfect for a dismal, wet, cold Houston day.  Nasty cold winter so far.  Way below temps all December.  First chance of any sun next Thursday.  If it breaks I will take a day off and ride the V7R.  My SAD is kicking in and I get sentimental and morose.  Need to retire in a dryer climate.  With sun.

Mom was chipper in Colorado though:  fed birds, sun out and at nearly 94 pretty happy.  I sent her a monocular so she could view the stars and birds and mountains.  Great genetics.

Houston averages 51 inches of rainfall a year

And if you happen to be here that day, it's kind of miserable.
