The rear seat doesn't encourage passengers though
Nice bike, I would add that to my collection in a heartbeat.

I have enjoyed all 5 Guzzi's that I have owned and ridden, including my current '98 Centauro GT,.  However, this bike is without question, one of the top 5 motorcycles I have ever owned - 1983 BMW R80RT - purchased from new, put 50,000+ trouble-free miles on it.  Back in the day, it was my only transportation for awhile...Practical, reliable, and great road bike all around! :thumb:   :boozing:

I much prefer a Loopframe Guzzi over a /2 any day. Not much more complex, 12 volt with electric start, much more capable, still inexpensive to buy, own and use.

JJ,

Many years ago, I had a twin to your R80 RT. Colorado red IIRC, but mine I was an 86’, so it had the single shock, and single side arm. A terrific machine, that was relatively lightweight, and could do canyon carving, or cross country duty.

sdcr - I could not agree more! :thumb: :boozing:   It was very nimble and balanced motorcycle, and was fast enough for me! :thumb: :boozing:
