Why no bids so far--  https://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Moto-Guzzi-Lemans-1/183684879529?hash=item2ac478d4a9:g:A94AAOSwTxJcN71u:rk:2:pf:0&vxp=mtr

Too high a starting bid?   People would rather work it up to the sell price themselves, rather than start close to it ...

Right you are, but that seems a low opening bid considering there's no reserve.

It's nice, but not in pristine condition. This seller is expecting top dollar.

Starting that high keeps the sport bidders away. Starting low causes excitement and gets lot's of dreamers bidding.
When previously listed, there was a buy it now price, taking away the mystery of what the reserve might be.

My guess is that if there are any bids, chances are they will come at the end.

Thats been around for a while for sale. Ive seen it posted different places. Looks like a nice runner...  but ya, I think starting the bidding at top dollar might be holding it back.

Maybe it has 18 years of back taxes from California - not sure how that works, but I think there is something like that?
