I want to "re-paint" the chin spoiler on my 1998 Centauro GT.
Hard to tell from this photo, but there are many stone chips. etc.

Where do I source this OEM paint?...I believe it is called "Gaiello Genestro? (spelling?), or "The Yellow Broom"
Any and all advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :thumb:

Good luck on your search!

Color-rite might have it. They had an exact match for my 96 Sport

My go to source doesn't show that color, however two great shops to consider matching it for you and painting it are Beals in Prescott and Route 66 Auto Body in Flag. Both very high quality shops and former customers of mine. My $.02

Will post photos, etc. of the progress... :thumb:

Glad to help JJ. The paint I ordered from them is an excellent match for my Nero Lotus Mille GT. Great service as well, had the product in short time, DHL if I remember correctly.

That is a piece of cake to do, JJ. I did the exact re paint on the chin spoiler of my 85 Lemans, as it was the only part of the bike that had rock chips. After the paint cures, you can have some of that "3M clear bra" material applied for future protection. Thats what I did to mine, and no more stone chips in that very vulnerable area.
Rick.

I repainted the red side plates on my V11 Sport and the match is perfect. I went to a local automotive paint supplier with a small bracket off the bike from under the tank and he put it in his spectroanalyser and mixed me 250ml of 2 pack. Mine is even bolted up to the original and you can't pick any colour difference. Quite amazing.
Here's the side plate I painted next to an original frame piece to the right. The only difference is my fresh 2 pack is shinier and of a better finish to the factory piece. Your belly pan without any original pieces adjacent to it will be easy peasy to match.
Ciao

Does anyone know if that is the same yellow as on the Sport 1100?
