Startus Interruptus Wiring

Saw another post about possible SI today .
Going to work on the Lario this weekend .
From what I can remember, you want to remove the heavy electrical load from the start switch, so cut the wire to the load terminal of the relay and then use a larger wire for the load .
Where do you usually go to for power, direct to the battery, or somewhere else ???

I have relays on all circuits that go through the switchgear. I'm pretty confident that the switches will live because of that. I have a fused wire that powers all of them, including the Startus Interruptus.

Yes, to the battery positive, with a suitable fuse as close to the battery as practical.  I *think* I used a 30A fuse when I did mine.  When I was finished, I was almost startled by the firm "clack" noise when the starter solenoid pulled in.

I'll pick up an inline fuse holder today when I'm out doing errands .
