Yes.    I've made successful warranty claims on all three of my V7's while they were still under warranty (all three bought pre-owned less than two years after original sale.

The 2009 V7C had a cold idle problem, got re-flashed under warranty.
The 2013 V7R had a leaking rear shock, got it replaced under warranty
The 2014 V7S had a severely discolored muffler from overheating at some point (was that way when I got it).     That was also replaced under warranty (thanks WaltR @ Europa Macchina for going to bat with MG for me).

The warranty definitely follows the bike. I once had someone in the New York office tell me the only reason they include the owner data in the warranty record is to support recalls if issued.
