V7 11 mirror options
« on: June 25, 2019, 04:33:27 PM »
I'm looking to replace my mirrors on my 2016 stornello. As far as I'm concerned the stock ones are useless , can barely see around my shoulders. Anyone have any options or experience. Would be appreciated.

Like a lot of us I've spent quite a bit on mirrors. I've found the Rizoma article good quality & long lasting, but it ain't cheap. I've had many Napoleons, cheaper, & pretty good, but they don't last. I have, in the past, tried bar ends - good views behind, but not happy with them & reverted to those that use the switch block mirror mount. The stock mirror is a good mirror, but on stock bars I get a great view of my arm & shoulder. Found by accident that the stock is great on low bars. There's an interesting mirror thread on grisoghetto.com you should check out - Beatle has now settled for the glassless versions from motogadget. They look the business.

Here's my setup -

2010 V7 Classic, 2014 V7 Special
1996 1100 Sport Carb (in NZ), 2004 V11 LeMans (in UK)
Carberry Enfield V-Twin, 2008 Royal Enfield Electra, 2006 RE Electra 535
