Breva 750 Throttle Balance
« on: August 21, 2019, 01:26:34 PM »
I'm getting close to pulling the trigger and moving from a Big Breva to a Baby Breva

One thing is puzzling me though - I can't find a write up as to how to balance the throttle bodies and set the idle speed

I understand that I need GuzziDiag like the B11, but on the B11 the idle speed is set by the IAC Valve which also takes care of the fast idle at cold.

I know the B75 has a fast idle lever so how is the hot idle set

Also, do you shut the bypasses before balancing and only open one like the B11 at idle??

Cheers

There's a full description of the procedure in the Files section on the MG750 Yahoo site. Specifically for the baby Breva, but the 2TB V7s and injected Nevada's have the same throttle bodies. The principles are likely the same as the big block, though the details differ, and for Guzzidiag you'll need the version for the 15RC ECU.
