Source for auxiliary lights for my 2013 Stelvio?
« on: October 08, 2019, 05:58:55 AM »
One of my auxiliary lights broke/snapped off at its mounting location on my 2013 Stelvio.  Can anybody give me a link for a source for some that i can replace the existing ones with and use the same wiring/existing switch etc.  If I replace the stock ones with aftermarket, the inside wire chafing issue should be gone also I'm thinking.  Thank-You for any links to auxiliary lights that will work with the Stelvio setup.  Ride safe!   :bike-037:

Its been quite a while, but when I broke a mount I googled [hella replacement parts] and found a place that disassembled complete light kits and sold individual repair parts.

If that is of any interest to you, give it a go.

I had good luck with LED lights from AdvMonster:  http://stores.advmonster.com/model-30-led-off-road-spot-light/   They draw much less power than the OEM lights, do not have the wire chafe issue, are water proof, and allowed me to keep the stock wire/switch setup.  Get the heavy duty brackets.

I have Denali D2’s few years. Dual intensity lights, super bright with high beams. Well worth the investment.

I have a set of 3" LED cubes from Amazon ($30) and another set from Tractor supply that are are now $75.

While both are nice (especially for the money) the Traveler brand from Tractor Supply is brighter.

Either will easily adapt to the stock wiring. All you need is a positive and negative wire to attach to the whip hanging out of the back of the new lights.
