MINNESOTA MOTO GUZZI RALLY

Grand Marais, Minnesota. Recreation area campground website: minnesota.mgnoc.com . Camp on the shore of Lake Superior at www.grandmaraisrecr eationarea.com. Downtown Grand Marias is only a few minutes' walk away. The Gunflint Trail starts here: www.visitcookcounty .com/communities/gunflint-trail. $40 rally fee includes two nights tent camping with hot showers. Friday night pulled pork meal, Saturday night herring meal, "quick fix" breakfast both mornings. Coffee and lemonade all weekend. 50/50 drawing, awards. (Sorry, no pins). Weather permitting, a classic Italian motorcycle show at Kevin and Lynn Mackey's home. Fisherman’s surprise from that morning. Usually herring jump into their nets. It hits the dinner plate later that same day.

I missed taking the picture of the 5 bikini clad local women who showed up Sunday morning with their dogs and all went for a swim! My jaw was slack when I arrived on scene and totally blanked pulling out the camera. My wife and Kevin Mackey and others around the coffee pot will vouch for me.
